MourningFyre emerged from the fires of creativity in 2007 to bring safe, professional fire entertainment to the Phoenix, Arizona area. Our love and respect of fire and its powers of creation and destruction have molded the troupe into a force to be reckoned with.Specializing in wildly creative, spontaneous fire shows, we also maintain the utmost highest standards of safety and professionalism. We follow NAFAA standards of fire safety and each performer carries fire performer insurance to guarantee we are serious about providing exhilarating yet safe fire entertainment.While we are still a relatively young troupe, we have years of experience with a multitude of fire performance tools. Providing everything from Poi, Staff, Meteor, Hoop, Fans, Snakes, Palm Torches, and Fire Breathers, we are sure to excite the crowd and bring the heat!

FIRE PERFORMANCESWhether you are throwing an intimate private party or a charity ball, MourningFyre can bring the entertainment heat!Need something with a tribal flair to it? MourningFyre offers belly dance style dancing with Fire Fans, Palm torches, and Fire Staff. These styles are sexy and graceful and are sure to entice!If you want lots of flow and continuity, we have that covered with Poi, Meteor, Staff, and hoop. These tools, in the right hands, provide a mesmerizing display of grace and power.Looking for large, heartstopping fire? MourningFyre has that, too. Fire breathing is the most dangerous fire performance there is and there are numerous Fire Breathers in MourningFyre. We also offer the thrill of Rope Dart, a martial arts tool used to project a weapon up to 13 feet from the fighter. PLAYSHOPSPerfect for your next party, this is an interesting blend of audience participation and fire performance. We will teach the audience some tricks of the trade and then put on a show! Tools are practice versions of the fire tools used by the performers of MourningFyre and the audience gets to keep them!Workshops are customizable in length, size of audience/participants, and content taught. These are an excellent idea for children's birthday parties and are ideal for children 6 or older. Now offering Poi, Hoop, and Rope Dart workshops. Mourning Fyre is all about community. We participate in a number of free to the public events like First Fridays in central Phoenix, Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts in central Phoenix, All Souls Procession in Tucson, and many more.While we consider this our gift back to the community, the cost to participate in such events can sometimes be great. Fire permits are costly. Each of our performance artists carries fire dancer insurance in the event that something does go wrong at a performance. Fuel for our props can be costly when putting on a large production. Lastly, our props in and of themselves can be quite costly. Help us continue to be able to share our art with the community by making a contribution to our troupe. Any amount is appreciated. If you would like to donate a larger amount in exchange for a link to your personal business, that can be arranged by contacting Corinne through email at mourningfyre_live.com
